“My Family Had Turned Against Me After A Longstanding Dispute, But We Finally Forgave Each Other – Nakuru Man Shares His Experience

September 10, 2026

For several years, I lived with the pain of being separated from some of the people I loved most. My name is David, and I am a man from Nakuru. A disagreement that started as a small family matter eventually became a serious dispute that divided us and made communication almost impossible.

At first, I believed the disagreement would be resolved after everyone had calmed down. Unfortunately, that did not happen. Each side became more convinced that they were right, and conversations that could have brought us together instead created more anger.

Eventually, some of my relatives stopped talking to me completely. Family gatherings became uncomfortable, and there were occasions when I would hear about important family events without being invited.

The situation affected me deeply. It was painful knowing that people I had grown up with could go for months without speaking to me. I often thought about the good times we had shared before the dispute.

I tried reaching out several times, but my attempts were not always welcomed. Sometimes conversations ended in arguments, while on other occasions there was simply silence.

As the years passed, I began losing hope that our family would ever return to the way it used to be. I missed the relationship we once had, but I did not know how to repair everything that had happened.

One day, a friend who knew about my situation told me about Magongo Doctors. He encouraged me to explain the problem to them and seek their guidance.

I contacted Magongo Doctors and told them about the disagreement, the years of separation and my desire to see my family united again.

They listened carefully to my story. After understanding my circumstances, Magongo Doctors cast a family reconciliation and forgiveness spell, which they said was intended to help create an opportunity for communication and reconciliation within my family.

I continued hoping that things would eventually change. I also became more willing to listen rather than immediately react whenever the family issue was discussed.

Then, unexpectedly, one of my relatives contacted me. The conversation was different from our previous attempts. Instead of arguing about who was right or wrong, we started talking about how the dispute had affected everyone.

That conversation opened a door that had been closed for years.

Gradually, other family members became involved. We began discussing what had happened and the misunderstandings that had kept us apart. Some people admitted that mistakes had been made on both sides.

Eventually, we met as a family and had a long conversation. There were emotional moments, but everyone had an opportunity to speak and be heard.

By the end of the meeting, we agreed to forgive one another and leave the old disagreements behind.

It was one of the happiest moments I had experienced in years. Seeing my relatives together again reminded me of how important family relationships can be.

Our relationship did not become perfect overnight, but we had taken an important step. We started communicating again, attending family occasions together and checking on one another.

Looking back, I realised how easily a disagreement can grow when people stop communicating. I was grateful that our family eventually found a way to reconnect and begin rebuilding the relationship we had lost.

I encourage anyone experiencing family disagreements, separation, misunderstandings or broken relationships to remain hopeful and seek guidance according to their circumstances. Magongo Doctors listen to people facing different life challenges and provide guidance.
