Shock and disbelief filled the face of William Munyoki when he returned home from work only to find his house completely empty. The television was gone. The fridge was missing. The sofa set, utensils, even the curtains — everything had disappeared.
“I thought I had entered the wrong house,” Dennis said, his voice shaking. “My heart started beating very fast. I couldn’t understand what was happening.”
Dennis, a young businessman, lives in a rented house on the outskirts of town. According to him, nothing looked broken. The door was not damaged. The windows were intact. It was as if someone with a key had calmly moved everything out.
Confused and scared, William immediately called his wife to ask what had happened.
But her response left him even more confused.
“Si mimi, wameiba nini my sweet?” she reportedly said on the phone in a soft voice. She sounded surprised, even concerned.
William says he felt something was not adding up.
“She sounded too calm,” he explained. “If thieves had really stolen everything, she would have been in panic. But she was asking me what was stolen as if she did not know.”
With no clear answers and no sign of forced entry, William decided to seek help from a well-known traditional spiritual consultant, Dr Magongo.
“I had no other option,” William said. “I needed the truth. I wanted to know who had breached my privacy and carried everything from my house without a trace.”
According to William, Dr Magongo listened carefully and then performed what he described as a “catch thief” spell. The spiritual consultant allegedly demanded that if the guilty person did not confess, they would face punishment by bees.
“It was not about revenge,” William insisted. “I just wanted justice.”
What happened next shocked even Dennis himself.
Just two hours later, his wife reportedly arrived at his workplace crying uncontrollably.
“Bwanangu ni mimi nilikuwa nimechukua juu ya kutovumilia mateso aki, nisamehe. Ni tamaa,” she cried as she knelt down.

William says she admitted to hiring a pickup and moving the items to a relative’s house without telling him.
“She said she was tired of struggling and wanted to teach me a lesson,” William explained. “But instead, she almost destroyed our marriage.”
Witnesses at William’ workplace said the woman was trembling and begging for forgiveness. She promised to return every single item and asked her husband not to take legal action.
“She kept saying she was sorry,” said one colleague who witnessed the scene. “She looked very scared.”
William now says he is still processing the betrayal.
“I never imagined my own wife could empty our house and lie to me,” he said quietly. “Trust is very important in marriage. When it is broken, it is hard to repair.”
The couple is currently trying to resolve the matter privately. All the household items have reportedly been returned.
