My name is Francis Muthee from Mbooni, Machakos County. After university, I thought life would be easy because of my strong academic qualifications, but that was not the case. One year passed, then two years, without getting employed.

Things were not as normal as I had expected, so I decided to try business. I borrowed Ksh 10,000 from my parents and started a mutura business in Umoja, Nairobi. For one year, the business went through struggles, losses, and sometimes no profits at all. It was painful to see the Ksh 10,000 my parents had given me slowly disappear. Although I pushed for one year, nothing tangible happened in my life. Customers would come, money would come in, but at the end of every month my Ksh 10,000 had reduced by Ksh 400. Where could I have gone wrong?

I had to stop the business and seek an alternative. This time, I decided to look for employment—a job that matched my certificates.

Yes, I got a job, a well-paying job of Ksh 25,000. Isn’t that good money? But let me tell you, it did not last. I was sacked on claims that I was sleeping with my boss’s wife, something I had never done.

The money I had saved from those two months, despite planning to start a new venture, was drained as I fought legal battles to deny the accusation of sleeping with my boss’s wife.

It did not go far. After struggling for five months, I got another job in Parklands, Nairobi, at a logistics station. Four months later, I was fired again, this time on accusations that I was involved in backdoor business dealings.

“What is wrong with my life?” I wondered.

I even tried to seek my parents’ blessings, but it was all in vain. It felt like a dark cloud had covered my life, so dark that I could not find any answers.

I remember one day sitting at my parents’ home, reflecting on my wasted four years.

I said, “Hii aki si kawaida, kila napoanza biashara inaanguka, haifanikiwi. Kazi nafutwa.”

I had to think of an alternative. This time, I chose to use the traditional method to know the fate of my life.

I went ahead and searched on Google, “Who is the best traditional healer in Kenya?” The answer I found was Dr Magongo, with the phone number +254720899984. I called, and guess what? A soft and welcoming voice answered, “Yes, my son.”

Before I explained everything, just telling him my name was enough for him to say, “Naona nyota yako imezibwa.”

What? He explained everything I had gone through as if he had been following my life. He added, “Usipojitenganisha na laana za kifamilia, pia wewe utakuwa kama ma uncle zako.”

Yes, it was true. None of my uncles had made it in life. They were all drunkards and drug addicts.

This is what I had to do without hesitation. It was only a matter of accepting and going through spiritual cleansing that changed my life.

Today, I work in government, in the Ministry of Lands, and I can say that many youths and people in society are facing a lot of struggles because of generational curses. It is time to sit down and think about spiritual cleansing. It helps a lot.

Were it not for this, I could not be working today. I could not be driving today. I could not be owning a house today.

Many of us are not aware of the dark forces in our lives, and it is time they called Dr Magongo via +254720899984 and started a new chapter in life.
